Donate In Memoriam
We have recently established an
‘In Memoriam Program’
that allows both families of the
deceased and their loved ones to donate to our local charity if they
choose not to purchase flower arrangements.
This continues to help others in need in our community in the
deceased loved one’s name.
Local Flower and/or Gift Shops
will donate a
keepsake gift for the
family of the
deceased in the name of the individuals who were kind
enough to donate to our charity.
Our In Memoriam Partners:
| Marietta's Flower Shop - Belle River | Melady Funeral Home - Belle River |
| Crafty Creations Flowers - Essex | Marcotte Funeral Home - Tecumseh |

Giving Pages
Weddings, Anniversaries, Birthdays, newborns - any occasion!
Giving Pages are a unique way to request, or give a meaningful gift.
Donate Securities -
Great news!
CanadaHelps now accepts gifts of securities online. With
the elimination of capital gains on donations of publically traded
securities last year, gifts of securities are now the most tax efficient
way to make a charitable donation ... and a great way for donors to make
a greater impact with their gift.
It’s easy – both for donors and for charities. Once a donor has
completed the online process and the shares have been sold, the donor
receives their tax receipt and the charity receives the funds.
It’s just that simple. To find out more about how it works, visit
http://www.canadahelps.org/Help/Help.aspx?id=11.
An email notification will be sent to you when a Gifts of Securities
donation has been made to your charity and of course you’ll be able to
track these donations at any time by checking your CanadaHelps account.

Planned giving refers to the process of making a charitable gift of
estate assets to one or more nonprofit organizations, a gift that
requires consideration and planning
in light of the donor's overall estate plan.
Such gifts usually include legal documents and often
require the assistance of a qualified professional advisor to complete.
Because of the size and potential impact of such gifts, a donor should
consult with his or her professional advisors before completing the
process.
In kind donations can be made in the form of material items that we
require to help
us run any one of our many programs
